March Playlist

King - Years & Years
I heard this song for the first time on MTV Push and, honestly, I kinda ignored it. Then, I heard it again and again and it kinda got stuck in my mind, so I decided to go on YouTube and listen to it properly and I basically fell in love with it! Plus this band, Years & Years, has already made some nice songs and they're going to release their first CD later this year. Guess who's going to buy it? (Me, if it wasn't obvious)

I lived - OneRepublic
I have always liked OneRepublic's music, but lately I've been pretty obsessed with it. This is just one of the many songs that I've been listening recently.

The Reason Why - Lorenzo Fragola
Lorenzo Fragola is the last XFactor-winner in Italy. He showed up at the auditions with a blue hoodie and a guitar. He sang a song that he wrote all alone in his bedroom and he immediately conquered the judges. Then, at the end of the show, he sang again this song in a more professional song and this song is called "The Reason Why".

Love Me Like You Do - Ellie Goulding
I'm probably the last person that got obsessed with this song and the only one who hasn't seen the movie "Fifty Shades Of Grey", but I must admit that this song is just amazing! Ellie's delicate voice is seriously perfect and I really enjoy listening to this song!

These have been my favorite songs this month, tell me about yours in the comments :)

Protect your skin from the sun

The sun is truly amazing, it makes us happy and without it, we'd be literally dead. Still, we have to protect our selves from it and from its UV rays because they can damage out skin without us realizing it. And beside the biggest consequences it can bring, as skin cancer, it is also proven to make your skin age faster.

HOW TO PROTECT YOUR SKIN FROM UV RAYS

1) Protect your skin with anti-UV creams, not just in summer, but even during the winter.

2) Avoid sun exposure between 10 AM and 4 PM when the rays are stronger.

3) When you're under sun's exposure, cover yourself with hats made of woven materials because they absorb UV light better than cotton fabrics.

5) Protect your eyes by wearing sunglasses

How To Be More Productive

If you try to change your lifestyle a little, you will become more productive and you'll really see results!

Take Notes
This is one of the things that I do the most when I'm trying to boost my productivity: basically everytime I have an idea about something, I just write in down on my iPhone notes. This step might sound useless because we think that we won't forget things but the truth is that we do forget things, even if we're not aware of it. In this way I always have my ideas wrote down together and when I wanna write a new post, I just look in my notes and it truly helps me.

Get Things Done
I know that this sounds obvious, but this part is fundamental. No matter what you have to do, try to do it as soon as possible and don't carry in around for hours or days. This way you'll be much less stressed and won't spend all you're time worrying about what you still have to do. This advise is good for everything, whatever you have to write a blogpost, do your homework or even just cook dinner for your family. Just do it.

Get inspired and keep your motivation high
Keeping your motivation high is the key of success in every single job. If you don't have enough motivation, it means that you're not doing what your doing with passion and if you're not doing it with passion, you're probably not doing a great job. Keeping your motivation high isn't as simple as it might sound. What I like doing is giving myself small goals that I can actually achieve: setting unrealistic goals will only disappoint you! Also, to keep your motivation high you have to get inspired to do your job in the best way you can, fortunately, you can find inspiration wherever: you just have to look around!

Get enought sleep
I honestly think that this is the most important step because sleep is really what gets us going, literally! If you don't sleep enough you'll feel tired and you'll have zero motivation to work. You should always sleep at least 8 hours a day, you will see changes very soon!

These are some tips that I always try to use and I honestly think that they work!

5 Best Fitness Apps

In my 5 HEALTHY LIFE CHOICES I gave you some advice about your "get healthy routine" and now I wanna help you to keep yourself motivated. One of the things I do on daily bases is using fitness apps. I know very well that having all those apps in front of you can be almost overwhelming, so I decided to test some on the best fitness apps and give you a little guide

Trainer
Having the Trained App is seriously like having a personal trainer that is following you step-by-step. I really enjoy this app because you can choose between a lot of different workouts and fit programs. I'd recommend it if you're trying to make your workout a little funnier and if you're trying to keep high your motivation!

MyFitnessPal
I've been using this app for months now and I like it because it's simple and functional at the same time. I loving using it because I know exactly how much I ate and how much I still need to eat. The best part is being able to check if you got enough proteins, fats and carbohydrates!

Spring Wishlist

Marc Jacobs - New Nudes "Have We Met?"

If you follow my blog, you already know that I'm a big lover of nude, but wearable, lipsticks. This Marc Jacobs' new line of lipsticks looks made just for me because it's not too heavy, it has shiny finish and it has a delicate vanilla scent.
Between all the color, my favorite is probably the 108 "Have We Met?"

Benefit Cosmetics - Roller Lush

After the success of the "They're Real" mascara, I'm really curious about this new product that they released. I relly like the way it looks, because it's a little funny and girly and I wonder if I'll look the final result, too.

White Party - Formula X

This is a limited edition, four-piece set of mini nail polishes in white-based shades. So what can be better for winter that these beautiful shades?
I really like the bluish one, that actully looks more like a grey one. Anyway, I'd really like to try it!

Lush - "Jason And The Argan Oil" Shampoo Bar

I really like LUSH products and I don't even think I have to explain you why! I've been using their products for one year and a half, I think, and I can't get enought of them.
I gave a look at their new products and I'm really interested in this new shampoo bar because it has really great products in it and I'm pretty sure that my hair will look amazing because of it!

So, this is my little spring whislist, what do you have in yours?

Spring Playlist

Spring is finally here! It's amazing waking up and seeing flowers outside your windows and hearing little birds sing! Don't you think so?
To welcome this amazing season I decided to let you know which are my favorite songs that remind me of sping!

Taylor Swift - Wildest Dreams
Whenever I listen to this song, I can't stop myself from thinking about flowers, sunsets and a little warm wind trough my hair. The melody really does remind of beautiful colors and really nice dreams and personally, I think that that represents these months.

Cody Simpson - La Da Dee
This song is really light and cheerful song sung by a really young singer. It reminds me of warm nights spent outside chilling with friends and that's something that I love about spring

My Favorite Books

Where are you now? Mary Clark Higgings
This is the book of Mary Higgings Clark that I ever read and it's also my favorite! The story is about a girl who's trying to find her brother who disappeared 10 years ago, but the interesting thing is that he calls every year on Mother's Day saying that he's okay. I would like to tell how it ends, but I'm gonna shut my mouth cause you need to read the book yourself! Believe me, if you do, you won't be disappointed!

A study in scarlet - Arthur Conan Doyle
This is the first book ever about Sherlock Holmes and there is a reason why people love Sherlock so much. Even though the book is so short, I instantly fell in love with it. I wish I could tell you more about it, but if I did you'd hate me because I'd have to give you huge spoilers. Just know that this book is brilliant.

Tea With Benefits

Tea is one my favorite drinks because it's delicious, light and because it has a lot of heath benefits. There are a lot of different types of tea in the world and having to chose one sometimes can be pretty hard, so I decided to make a list of some of the healthiest tea and tell you why you should drink it.

GREEN TEA
Green tea is probably the healthiest tea ever because it protects against heart disease, prevents diabetes and it maintains a healthy circulatory system. Plus it's full of antioxidants, it gives healthy skins and it reduces plaque and bacteria in your mouth.

BLACK TEA
Black tea has the highest caffeine content. It boots your immune system and increases enery.  It's really useful for skin and hair health.

CHAMOMILE TEA
This one is a must for me because I always drink it before bed. Its antioxidants may help prevent complications from diabetes, like loss of vision and nerve and kidney damage, and stunt the growth of cancer cells.

HIBISCUS TEA
I'd recommend this one for when you're stressed because it improves the ability to manage stress and stimulate detoxification and it lowers blood pressure. Plus it's a high source of vitamin C and it's caffeine free.

OOLONG TEA
I call this one the beauty-tea because it's excellent for tea and complexion.
Plus it increases your metabolism and stimulates fat burning.

ROOIBOS TEA
This tea is very healthy because it has a lot of vitamins and minerals, plus it's effective in treating nervous tension, stress and insomnia.

GINGER TEA
This one is really healthy because it supports immune system and it's really helpful in case of a cold or flu.
Plus, it supports better digestion, a lot of people recommend it if you're trying to lose weight.

My Favorite Quotes

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Watne GretzkyI really like this quote because sometime I don't do things just because I have good chances of failing, then I think about this quote and realize that even if I have 99% chances of failing, I have 1% of chances of successing.

The mind is everything: what you think you become - Buddha
This is a really true quote and I have actually experienced it on my own skin.

You can never cross the ocean until you have the courage to lose sight of the shore - Cristoforo Colombo
This is one of my favorites because if you think about it, you realize how hard it is, accepting this truth, but we all have to lose sight of things if we wanna change something in our lives.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
Lately I've been looking for a product that I could've use quickly and that removed properly my make up, so I went looking for something and I found this! The thing that I like about this product is that not only it removes my make up, but it also hydrates my skin! I've been using it every morning and I think that the results are great!

Rimmel Lasting Finish 25h Foundation
It always takes me ages to find a foundation that I like because I have a pretty light skin and I never find my shade, but I finally found the one! I bought the "103 True Ivory" a couple of weeks ago and I love it!
Not only it's the right shade, it also controls oil without drying my skin!
I really like the final result and I'll probably buy it again when I finish it.

BEST WORKOUT SONGS

I recently made a post called "5 HEALTHY LIFE CHOICES", where I give you small fitness advice. In this post I want to share with you my favorite workout songs because I think that music motivates you and it really changes how you feel about workout.

Run The World (Girls) - Beyoncé
Sometimes it happens that when I go to the gym and maybe want to lift a little, I feel out of place just because I'm a girl and all the men that are around me probably think "what is this little girl doing here?". But I'm a feminist, so I just put Queen B on and all those thought disappear!

Dance Again - Jennifer Lopez ft. Pitbull
What I'm about to say is a little awkward but sometimes, when I'm home alone, I like turning on the music and just dance. I know that I probably look like a monkey, but dancing is a really good cardio exercise and plus it's really funny and enjoyable!

5 HEALTHY LIFE CHOICES

I'm pretty sure that now that in the past months most of us hasn't been really healthy and now that summertime is coming we don't feel in shape. At least that's how I feel, so I decided to change my every-day habits and hopefully get healthier and maybe get rid of the extra-wight. But still, I don't wanna do dramatic changes because my body would feel really confused and I'd end up food-binging. So this is just the first post of a series of post where I'll show you what I'm doing to get back in shape.

1) Water, water and again water
This might sound obvious, but one of the main mistakes people do when they're trying to get healthier is drinking too little water. Personally, I'll try to drink at least 10 glasses of water a day, starting in the morning before breakfast. In fact it's scientifically proven that drinking cold water when you wake up speeds up you metabolism, so why not?

2) Morning yoga
Doing a little movement in the morning is that really changes your day because once you've started your day in a healthy way, you'll be more likely to do healthy choices during the whole day. The best part of this step is that you don't have to do great things in this case, just get out of bed and give it a little try. What I like doing in the morning is following this picture that I randomly found once on Tumblr, I suggest you to try to do the same!
3) Walk more
This part may sound a little harder because I'm pretty sure that a lot of people who are reading this post have a busy life and think that walking requires at least 2 hours of free time or so. But that's not true! You don't have to go to the park and maybe wasting your time, you just need to make little changes. For example if you're going to work or school, find a parking spot that is 10 minutes away from the place you're going. This way you'll walk a little bit more and you won't even notice it!
